Q: What is the POGO Automatic Blood Glucose Monitoring System?

A: The POGO Automatic Monitor, unlike traditional blood glucose meters, lets you test your blood glucose with the press of a button; no separate lancing device is required. You simply press the test port for auto lancing and blood collection and after a short countdown receive a blood glucose result.

The POGO Automatic Monitor and POGO Automatic Test Cartridge together make up the POGO Automatic Blood Glucose Monitoring System. Everything you need to test your blood glucose is contained in the POGO Automatic Test Cartridge. No separate lancing device is required. Each cartridge combines 10 test strips and 10 lancets.

 

Q: How is the POGO Automatic Monitor different from a traditional blood glucose meter?

A: The POGO Automatic Monitor is unique. It’s the only monitor that fully integrates all testing supplies in one compact system. In just one step, POGO Automatic lances your finger, collects your blood, and provides a blood glucose result in seconds.

 

Q: I lost my POGO Automatic Monitor. What can I do?

Q: Do I need to use Patterns® to use my POGO Automatic Monitor?

A: Patterns is not required to use your POGO Automatic Monitor, but Patterns is an excellent tool to view, track, and share the blood glucose results from your POGO Automatic Monitor.

 

Q: What blood sample size does the POGO Automatic Monitor require?

A: The POGO Automatic Monitor uses a small, 0.25 microliter blood sample.

 

Q: Is it hard to clean the POGO Automatic Monitor?

A: Like all meters, POGO Automatic requires a two-step cleaning and disinfecting process. However, we designed the monitor to make this as easy as possible: you can remove the test platform from the monitor for cleaning.

Q:  How accurate and precise is the POGO Automatic Monitor?

A:  The FDA requires blood glucose meters to have an accuracy of ± 15% compared to a reference method like one a hospital uses. The FDA reviewed POGO Automatic and agreed that it meets ± 15% accuracy.

 

Q: Is POGO Automatic like a continuous glucose monitor?

A: Continuous glucose monitoring is a very different technology.  It requires a user to wear a sensor and transmitter, which takes continuous samples of interstitial fluid to produce a sensor glucose value.  The POGO Automatic is an automatic blood glucose monitor.  POGO Automatic combines the test strip and lancing device within a 10-test cartridge, which allows you to produce a blood glucose result in one step.

 

Q: I changed my mind. I don’t want my unused POGO Automatic Monitor. How can I return it?

A: You can receive a refund within 15 calendar days of your order if the tamperproof seal on the monitor box is intact (i.e., the box hasn’t been opened).

POGO Automatic Test Cartridges are considered medical supplies and therefore are not eligible for a refund unless they’re defective. However, your monthly subscription can be canceled at any time. If you cancel, you won’t receive a refund for the current period, but you won’t be charged again.

Q: I keep getting an error code when I try to test. What should I do?

A: Information about error codes can be found in your POGO Automatic Owner’s Manual. If you’re getting an error code and that information doesn’t help you, please contact Customer Support for further assistance via email at support@presspogohelp.com or call 1-855-IMI-POGO (464-7646).

 

Q: Are the POGO Automatic Monitor and Test Cartridges covered by my insurance?

A: When your physician writes your POGO Automatic Cartridge prescription (Rx), if you have private insurance you will pay no more than $59 for up to 150 tests per prescription.

If you’re already insured by any government healthcare program, including Medicare, Medicaid, V.A. or the military, you’re not eligible for this offer.  This program is subject to change or discontinuation at any time.

 

 

Q: Can I use my Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and/or my Health Savings Accounts (HSA) to pay for my POGO Automatic Monitor and Test Cartridges?

A: Yes, the POGO Automatic Monitor and Test Cartridges are eligible for purchase using Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) on the POGO Store.

 

Q: What is the warranty for the POGO Automatic Monitor?

A: We offer customers who buy a new POGO Automatic Monitor a one-year warranty. The monitor is covered under this warranty unless it has been modified, altered, or misused. Under this warranty, we will replace your monitor if it is defective in material or workmanship.

If any product you purchase from us is defective when it arrives or becomes defective during the warranty period due to a manufacturing or shipping issue, we will gladly replace it.

Q: Can I adjust the depth of the lance?

A: The depth of the lance cannot be adjusted; however, you can adjust your finger pressure on the test port and/or turn off the vacuum.

A: Everything you need to test your blood glucose is contained within the POGO Automatic Test Cartridge. No separate lancing device is required. Each cartridge combines 10 test strips and 10 lancets.

 

Q: How do I purchase POGO Automatic Test Cartridges?

A: You can purchase POGO Automatic Test Cartridges or fill a prescription from your doctor at select Walgreens pharmacies.  If POGO Automatic Test Cartridges are not available at your local Walgreens, you can ask the pharmacist to order the product for you.  Other pharmacies coming soon.  You can also buy them online at shop.presspogo.com (no prescription needed).

 

Q: What if I run out of POGO Automatic Test Cartridges before my next delivery?

A: We designed our POGO Automatic Cartridge bundles to provide flexibility in daily testing needs.

However, if you think you’re going to use your monthly cartridge order or you already have, we’re here to help. You can make a one-time purchase of one or more additional POGO Automatic Test Cartridges to ensure that you have enough tests until your next subscription order arrives.
